Event Information

Educator Open House is our largest educator event of the year! With over 500 educators in attendance annually, Educator Open House serves as an excellent opportunity to promote your organization and reach potential clientele. 

Educator Open House is an event the Moody Gardens Education Department puts on annually with the goal of connecting informal and formal educators to the many opportunities available on and around Galveston Island. For all qualifying educators and support staff, Educator Open House is completely free. Additionally, all interested educators can complete a scavenger hunt to earn up to 4 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credit hours.

Exhibitor Information

 

Booth Information

Exhibitor tables will be open from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. We ask all exhibitors to arrive and be set up by 9:30 am and to remain set up until 2:00 pm.

All registered exhibitors will be provided 1 6-foot table fitted with a table cloth and table skirt and 2 chairs. Power can be provided, upon request with advance notice.

You are welcome to share educational brochures and information at your booth, but please no selling of goods or services.

Door prizes

Educator Open House is free to participate as an exhibitor, however, we are asking all of our vendors to donate a door prize. If you are able to donate a door prize, please indicate such in your registration. All door prizes must be delivered to or dropped off at the Learning Place at Moody Gardens by January 30, 2019.

Scavenger Hunt

In order to further drive Educator Open House participants to exhibitors, we ask our vendors to stamp scavenger hunts for participants while discussing your educational programming. Stamps will be provided in your welcome pack when you arrive the day of the event.
