This afternoon workshop will focus on the importance of a strategic plan for your Friends group. Participants will dig into their mission and vision statements, in an effort to develop specific, measurable, actionable, realistic and timely programs and projects designed to support programmatic activities associated with Friends groups.
As part of the workshop participants will be actively engaged in developing, analyzing, synthesizing and assessing organizational sustainability via current and future programs.
Participants should bring mission and vision statements, strategic plans, by-laws, budgets, membership brochures and newsletters.

Conference attendees will receive a special discount at the Pickwick Landing State Park gift shop when you show your conference name badge.

Friends group members and the State Park staff that work with them are invited to Pickwick Landing State Park for the 11th Annual Friends Conference. Come and learn from educational sessions, share information about best practices, challenges and successes, exchange program and project ideas and celebrate all the outstanding achievements of the Tennessee State Parks Friends' Groups.
Conference Fees
There will be a $35 registration fee PER GROUP in addition to a $10 registration fee PER FRIENDS MEMBER. Please choose accordingly when you register.
