Water Conservation in the Landscape

Plan to join us on Wednesday, May 10, for the second CLCA University class of the year where we’ll have green industry professionals talking about water conservation in the landscape.

As our keynote speakers, we will have:

• Robin Lynch, ASLA, Regenerative Design Studios

Robin will be speaking on bioswales and detailing some native California plants.

• Joseph Baquerizo, Water Efficiency Specialist at IRWD

Joseph will talk about recycled vs potable water for landscapes, as well as current conservation incentive programs and water management tools offered by IRWD.

• David Silva, CLCA Resource and Water Programs Manager

David will provide a brief overview about MWELO, detailing its purpose and recent updates made to the ordinance.

These professionals will talk from their own experiences and be available to address your questions first-hand.

Meet new green industry friends during networking that will begin at 4 p.m., followed by the educational session at 4:30 p.m. There will be heavy appetizers, which are included in the $40 to attend. Cost for non-CLCA members is $45. Class is scheduled to conclude by 6:30 p.m., allowing enough time to get you home with your family in time for dinner!

The Chapter accepts credit cards and online registration. Register by May 3 for $5 off admission.
