Your membership and support helps further our mission. Since 1984, the Special Needs Advocacy Network (SPAN) has been recognized as a strong and credible nonprofit organization of special education advocates. 

Group Membership benefits include the following:

For those who have listings in our Professional Directory, we are pleased to offer our “Introducing…” Section, in which we will include your contact information, web links and photo on SPaN’s homepage. Advocates are featured on a bi-weekly, rotating schedule throughout the year.  This will provide optimal exposure - a fantastic opportunity to market your services! Professional Directory Listing Requirements

A fundamental goal of the Board of Directors for SPaN has been to develop and promote standards for practicing advocates and promote the recognition of advocacy as a profession. Therefore, to have a professional listing on the SPaN website, each listing member will now be required to have met the 12 hour ongoing training standard. The 12 hours of ongoing training must have occurred in the previous 12 months from the date of join/renew. This applies to both full year and 6-month options. Due to the COVID-19 Crisis SPaN is offering a 6-month group membership option. The pricing will be at 50% of a full year membership, with the option to renew. 

Membership Rates 

Groups (1 year membership for up to 10 individuals):

• 1 Year Membership Only  $210  
• 1 Year Membership Professional Directory Listing $275.00  - includes 1 (one) listing only 
• 1 Year Additional listings for a Group are $50/each

Groups (6 month membership term for up to 10 individuals):

• 6-month Membership Only $105 
• 6-month Membership with Professional Directly Listing  $137.50  - includes 1 (one) listing only
• 6-month Additional Listings for a group are $25/each
