Media Marvels Safari Photography Workshop 

In this Media Marvels program, you'll discover how to take quality photos for marketing and PR needs. You'll explore how cameras work and how to take pictures in a natural setting, and will use your camera to document and explore Girl Scout Camp Caloosa. If you do not have a camera or a cell phone, please email Jaime Estes at jaimee@gsgcf.org and one will be provided for your use for the day.

This program will be taught by Enlightened Monkey Arts' co-owner Dave Gordon. During the safari portion of this program, Dave will be available to answer questions, help you solve problems, and improve your photography skills. After taking pictures outside, you will have a discussion about what you've learned.

Once you get home, you will select your favorite three photos and upload them to our closed online group. You will be provided a link to this group after registering for this event. These photos and others that Media Marvels take throughout the year will then be used by this group  to create brochures, ad campaigns, and other marketing materials for Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida. One of the first projects will be to add more photos to the Camp Caloosa webpage. These skills will also be practiced at various Girl Scout programs.
