Comic Book Art Camp 

Introduction to comic book artwork for Indigenous youth in and around the Regina area. The camp is for Indigenous youth ages 14-18 and will be 2.5 days.

• Wednesday August 17, 2022 8:30am to 4:00pm
• Thursday, August 18, 2022 8:30am to 4:00pm
• Friday, August 19, 2022 8:30am to 12:00pm

Participants will focus on steps involved in creating stories using sequential art drawing and painting techniques. Participants will be provided with an art kit containing a variety of drawing materials that are typically used by comic book artists including assorted papers, inks, water-based paints, and markers. These art materials will be used in the workshop and whatever is left over they can take home with them.

Transportation is not provided. Parents/Guardians are responsible to drop off and pick up their child(ren). Breakfast, snacks, and lunch will be provided.
