There will be no refunds or cancelations issued for the Motivational Inverviewing Training. However, registration for this event is transferrable. If you register for this event but are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another member of your agency.

Motivational Interviewing
Case managers, family advocates, self-sufficiency coaches – these are just a few of the many titles to describe the ever-important role of working directly with families in need. Front-line staff are at the heart of what we do as a Community Action network. One powerful technique case managers can utilize in daily work is motivational interviewing. By understanding and implementing basic motivational interviewing techniques (i.e., asking the right questions, reflective listening, empathy vs. sympathy, etc.), case managers can better inspire clients to achieve their goals.
