One-Day Noxious Weed Workshop for Applicator Technicians (New Hires & Experienced), Certified Operators & Individuals wanting to learn about Noxious Weeds.
The Colorado Weed Management Association, Colorado 4 Healthy Landscapes, and Montrose County Ecological Services Department present a 1-day workshop on noxious and invasive weeds for those with limited experience.
All Colorado Department of Agriculture Core Credits will be covered. Applicator Safety - Mixing, Application and PPE's Public Safety/Pesticides & Their Families - Modes of action, choosing the right product, environmental conditions. 2 Laws & Regulation - Pollinator Protection & Noxious Weeds of Colorado. Environmental Protection - Protecting the Environment. Use of Pesticides - Using the Proper Herbicide. Category 107 Rangeland Pest Control. Category 109 Industrial & Right of Way Weed Control.
Registration starts at 8:00 a.m. Workshops begin at 8:30 a.m. and will finish by 4:00 p.m.
A $50 registration fee, lunch not included.
