KYSPRA Fall Institute: Standing Above the Crowd!

The annual fall institute of the Kentucky School Public Relations Association (KYSPRA) is designed to provide high-quality professional development for school district personnel engaged in any aspect of nurturing positive relationships with its  stakeholders. This is also the time of year to renew your KYSPRA membership. You can do that using our convenient conference registration form as well.

This year’s institute will focus on personal and professional leadership –  allowing participants, as individuals, the opportunity to gain skills that will help them “Stand Above the Crowd!”, and, as leaders in their district, to lead their district to “Stand Above the Crowd!”

Several great leadership experts, motivational speakers, and PR skill-building experts are scheduled to appear, including:

  •  Stu Silberman - long-time Kentucky superintendent (Daviess and Fayette Counties) and recently named Executive Director of the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence.
  • Tommy Floyd - Supt., Madison Co. Schools
  • Rhonda Caldwell - CAE, Deputy Director, KASA
  • Dr. Kevin Hub - Leadership Expert
  • Tony Mirones - WCPO-TV
  • Ken Hughes - Crisis Communications Expert
  • Marsha Carpenter - Daviess County Schools, Director of Community Campus
  • Brad Hughes - KSBA

Plus several others to assist with building specific PR skills…. Photoshop, marketing, videography, and graphic design

Our event will conclude with the Outstanding Achievement in School Information Services (OASIS) Awards Banquet at noon on Friday.

This event, as a full, two-day event, is designed to be a comprehensive professional development opportunity for PR and other school district professionals. We hope you will consider inviting those on your staff who may benefit from this opportunity!

EILA Credit is being requested for 10 hours.

Note: On-line Registration Closes September 23, 2011.
