Who Should Attend

The event is suitable for novices and the more experienced alike. Our emphasis is on not just classroom style, but hands-on practical learning. For example, in the computer workshops, you get to use your own computer and ask questions that are specific to your way of working. In the digital photography classes we can help you understand how to use the features and settings for your own digital camera, use your camera on outdoor field assignments and then learn more about transfering them to a computer, editing them, managing them and sharing over the internet.

Agenda

Registration opens at 12:30pm on Saturday April 22nd (although you may arrive before hand by arrangement with Paradise Oaks) with the Welcome and Intorduction beginning at 3:00 pm. The sessions consist of a mixture of fun activities, group events, hands-on seminars, outdoor activities, a vendor exhibition. In the afternoon we have three breakout tracks depending upon your particular interest; Beginners, Photos and Video, Technology. Each track runs concurrently, but you can switch between tracks as often as you like.

Price

The cost is $199 per coach (2 people) which covers your tuition, entertainment and events. If you are local to the area or are traveling with friends, we offer day passes at $35 per day. There are a couple of optional extra's such as the Computer Workshop Classes which are more specialized and have limited availability. When you register you will be given the chance to sign up for those additional classes.

If you are already a member of the Geeks on Tour Learning Library, you will receive a special $34 discount. Cancellation

You may cancel your reservation up to one week before the rally and receive a full refund. Simply send an email to reservations@thelearningrally.com or call 866-324-7915.

During registration you will be asked for the attendee names and will be able to pay by check or Paypal. Once you have registered you can print off your rally tickets. By registering, all attendees agree to our terms and conditions.
