Rose Sangha: St Francis, Mary Magdalene and the Healing Power of Nature

October's Rose Sangha celebrates the Kinship of all creation and the healing power of nature. Kayleen Asbo takes us on a visual journey to Italy and France where we discover the forests and caves used by Saint Francis and Mary Magdalene for contemplation. British therapist Polly Paton Brown shares her moving journey of how connecting the animal world and the arts brought healing from trauma to her child patients and Harmony Harrison shares her incredible drawings of wild creatures along with some of her 102 poems of Mary Magdalene- -both of which became a pathway of healing and revelation during a debilitating illness. The folk music group NoTan serenades us with sacred songs written to accompany outdoor labyrinth walks in this feast of beauty and communal connection.
