OUR GUESTS

PAM STEWART
Commissioner for the Florida Department of Education from 2013-2018, Pam Stewart was appointed by Governor Rick Scott. Her career encompasses all aspects of education including teacher, counselor and principal; and locally as Deputy Superintendent for Academic Services for the St. Johns County School District. She served as Deputy Chancellor for Educator Quality and Chancellor of Public Schools for Florida overseeing areas and programs for Florida's PreK-12 education system serving more than 2.7 million students and 192,000 educators.

ALEX SINK
One of the first female executives in banking, Alex Sink culminated her private-sector career as president of Florida's largest bank. Then, as Florida's Chief Financial Officer, she was the first woman to oversee the Department of Financial Services with 2,000 employees and a budget of $200 million. In 2010, in one of the closest races in election history, she came within 60,000 votes of becoming our first female governor. Her new career passion: helping tech startups grow and prosper as an adviser for Tampa's Hyde Park Capital, founder of the nonprofit Florida Next Foundation and as chair of the nonprofit Tampa Bay Wave which helps entrepreneurs build, launch, and grow breakout tech businesses.

      GINA MANGUS
In her role as Vice President of Strategy & Business Development, Gina Mangus has played a key role in the transformation of Flagler Health+ from a hospital-centric system to a total care enterprise. As part of the leadership team that is working to achieve the organization's vision to advance the physical, social, and economic health of area communities, she has seen firsthand how increasing access to care, focusing on wellness and supporting community engagement are critical to achieving a high quality of life for our residents.

Women United unites influential women from beaches to boardrooms and from academia to the arts. We come alongside women to support further education needs for women and children to allow this generation and the next to successfully reach their full potential.

Change doesn't happen alone. Commit to being part of this event and to Powerful Women Doing Powerful Things.
