Cape Cod Lighthouses & Seashore Photo Tour 2020

Cape Cod after Labor Day is a wonderful time of year for touring and photography. The weather is warm, the crowds have headed back home and the photo opportunities abound!

We’ll tour the island and surrounding region to find the best spots to capture both the seashore and the wonderful diversity of Lighthouses in the area including Nobska Point, Chatham, Nauset and Highland Lights. We'll choose a hotel near Hyannis in the mid-point of Cape Cod so that we can venture out each day from a convenient location.

We choose our locations based on the weather and cloudscapes as we chase the best light possible, so we may adjust where we go each day based on the best photos available. 

We’ll start at Scitiuate light in nearby Scituate, MA and then head out to the Cape.  On Friday we’ll take the high-speed ferry from Hyannis to Nantucket (tickets currently $38.50 round trip) and take a tour to include Sankaty Head and Brant Point Light by the harbor. We'll finish up by Saturday evening after spending the day exploring more of the Cape. Why not plan to stay over Thursday night and spend a leisurely Friday morning before heading out? Joe will be staying over and plans on photographing Nobska Light near Wood's Hole on Friday morning - join him for an extra photo shoot class at no extra charge!

  This trip is great for both photographers and non-shooters - everyone will enjoy the scenery, touring, shopping and wonderful food that Cape Cod has to offer! 

Tuition is just $595 with three days of touring including photo and compositional instruction. Spouses/partners are welcome to tour with us at no extra charge!
