Beautiful mountain streams and waterfalls and a painter’s palette of fall colors provide the perfect backdrop for a fantastic weekend photography workshop. On the border of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, the Delaware River cuts through the Appalachian Mountains Ridge creating the Delaware Water Gap. This geologic feature creates a smorgasbord of scenic vistas from the hillsides, beautiful lakes and rivers and of course, the stunning waterfalls off the Pocono Plateau. We’ll also take advantage of the surrounding scenery of the Hudson Valley as we follow the light for the best photo opportunities. Join award-winning instructors Joe Brady and Diane Bollen for this guided workshop and raise your landscape photography to a new level.
Landscape photography can be a great challenge for any photographer and we will explore metering and composition so that you can always capture the best digital image file possible. You’ll learn techniques to create beautiful flowing water in the streams and waterfalls that we will visit and we’ll take advantage of the character that old barns and houses in the region bring to the landscape.
Since we can't have classroom sessions, Joe will provide all registrants with image editing videos using some of the photos captured during the Workshop, demonstrating how to bring out the real beauty and shape the light for a final print. This Workshop is limited to 8 participants to ensure personal attention, so register soon to reserve your spot!
If you need lodging, we can recommend the Hampton Inn Matamoras/Milford - here's a link to the hotel.
Tuition is just $295 for the weekend Includes touring, on site instruction and a focus on better composition in your photography.
