First Aid/CPR/AED

This Red Cross workshop meets the OSHA requirements in Oregon and Washington for employees trained in first aid.  The class is taught in a relaxed and informal setting with plenty of opportunities for hands-on practice and training with the AED (Automatic External Defibrillator).  Human resources professionals play an important role in ensuring employee health and safety, as they know the workplace, the employees and their job demands. While human resources professionals are not expected to know the technical aspects of workplace health and safety, they should know when and how to use existing resources to respond to employee concerns. In many organizations, health and safety responsibilities are within the human resources department.

Registration Information

• Seating is limiteD and registration is on a "first come, first serve" basis.  
  We strongly encourage participants to call ahead to confirm that there is still space available in the program. 
• Payment and registration must be received one week before the scheduled program start date.
• Cancellations also must be received one week before the program start date to receive a full refund.
• There are no refunds for “no-shows.”
