SPRING 2022, ECC INTERACTIVE LEARNING SERIES 

 

FSDB welcomes you to join us in stretching your mind. 

Creative Minds- Inspiring Young Innovators  

Creative thinking helps us to solve problems that don’t have a clear or easy answers. Creativity promotes curiosity, logical reasoning, and story-telling skills.  

Activites include a taste test, designing, creating, and marketing your own candy bar!

Join us April 23,2022 10:00 AM-12:00 PM, EST in our online, Zoom classroom. This activity is for children aged 6-13. 

ALL students who are blind or visually impaired (BVI), or deaf or hard of hearing (DHH), and live in the state of Florida are eligible to register for this free event. We will ship a package with all items needed to complete the activities to all registered students.

Students will explore areas of the Expanded Core Curriculum and use creative thinking in the following areas:

  • Sensory Efficiency- using all their senses efficiently 
  • Compensatory Skills- thinking, reading, writing, creating 
  • Recreation and Leisure- having fun and sharing ideas
  • Assistive Technology- staying current and learning new strategies 

All materials are provided free of charge. 

Parents and siblings are welcome with supervision. Registration for this event is required. Limited spaces so register soon!
