16 and Under Young Performers Club Showcase
Music On & Up and Young Performers Club have been producing talent showcase events for ten years and have had over 800 performers participate in their shows. We have the longest running and top talent event in the North East. The organization wants performers to become more experienced with live performing, enhance their resumes, and collaborate with each other on future music endeavors.
This is our Annual Showcase Event for performers 16 and under
This is one of our youngest age group events. Eligible performers will include solos, instrumentalists, duos, groups and bands from all music genres. All performers are required to submit an application to participate. Our review team will evaluate your submission and will select 15 performers for the showcase event. We will have numerous awards and prizes which are great for building resumes.
Each performer will perform two songs of their choice not exceeding four minutes each, both of which may be originals.One band member may be over 16-years-old. THE SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS March 25, 2019.
During the judging panel's review, we will have a special performance by prior finalists. We will also have a guest opener to kick off the show, and other guest performers throughout the showcase.
We will be notifying the showcase finalists by March 26th. If you do not hear from us by that date, you were not selected for this event. All applicants will be notified through email. We have many events throughout the year so there will be more opportunities available in the future.
We are excited to be having the showcase at the Hard Rock Cafe, our historic home base for our showcase events. The sound system is outstanding, so it will be a super recording opportunity.
We have a food and beverage minimum requirement under the new management structure, so please enjoy the menu.
All performers are required to remain for the duration of the showcase or they will be disqualified from the awards and fnalist selection process. Additionally, performers who are not present when called for sound checks will not be allowed to participate. We are proud that our shows are packed from beginning to end and we want this to be a great experience for all participants. Best of luck in getting ready.
