2013 Summer Pro Bono Panel 

The District of Columbia has an incredibly strong pro bono community. Many of DC’s most vulnerable children and families receive legal assistance from pro bono attorneys through Children’s Law Center.

Please join us for this annual event to learn more about pro bono opportunities at Children's Law Center. You will have the opportunity to hear from pro bono attorneys with experience in adoption, guardianship, and custody; custody guardian ad litem; and special education cases. In addition, you will hear from our experienced staff members about our work to ensure that all children in DC have a strong foundation of family, health, and education. Our panelists will include Alexis DeBernardis of Crowell & Moring, Timothy Riffe of Fish & Richardson, and Hillary Webber of McDermott, Will & Emery  all active pro bono attorneys and members of Children's Law Center’s Advisory Board  as well as CLC’s own Rebecca Goldfrank, Family Permanency Project Director, and Joy Purcell, Healthy Together Senior Staff Attorney.

Summer associates and any lawyers with an interest in pro bono work are welcome. Light refreshments will be served.
