About the Summit

Popular statewide summit brings together over 300 residents, fellows, faculty and other healthcare professionals to focus on the promotion of paitent safety and enhancement of quality patient care.  The summit will recoginze outstanding quality improvement and patient safety projects by residents and fellows and highlight the importance of quality improvement as a component of the graduate medical education training and professional practice experience.  

  • More than 100 residents and fellows from across the state will compete with their quality improvement and patient safety projects
  • Core faculty may present their projects in voice-over PowerPoint format
  • Top projects for residents and fellows will be live streamed on May 19th
  • Keynote presentation by national QI experts followed by awards ceremony
