Course Leader, Geetha Krishnamoorthy, MD, FACP

Dr. Geetha Krishnamoorthy is an ABIM certified internist, and currently the Program Director of Internal Medicine at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Department of Internal Medicine. She was formerly the Associate Program Director of Internal Medicine and Transitional Medicine Programs at Sinai Grace Hospital/Detroit Medical Center. She is an active Clinician and Educator, who has been training Internal Medicine Residents since 1996. The 6-day intensive Internal Medicine course has been conducted by Dr. Geetha Krishnamoorthy since 2005.

Southeast Michigan Center for Medical Education (SEMCME) was establisted in 1974 for coordinating and assisting the education of medical students and residents, faculty and other health professionals. The participating hospitals include: Ascension Providence Hospitals - Novi, Rochester, and Southfield, Ascension St. John Hospital, Beaumont Hospital, Dearborn and Royal Oak, Detroit Medical Center Hospital, Henry Ford Hospital, McLaren Health Care Hospitals, St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor and St. Joseph Mercy Oakland. Wayne State University School of Medicine and and Oakland Univerity William Beaumont School of Medicine make vital contributions to SEMCME's educational efforts.

Internal Medicine pre-recorded topics will be released each day of the review course. An AM topic will become available at 7:30 AM, followed by a PM topic at 12:30 PM. Dr. Geetha Krishnamoorthy will be available during this time frame to answer any questions.
