A New Heaven and A New Earth, Cultural Competency Training for the Northwest (Introductory)

Registration begins 8:30 AM

This introductory workshop assists in building skills to effectively communicate with a diversity of people – younger, older, immigrant, a primary culture or language different from your own. You will learn skills and tools for building relationships across cultures. Appropriate for lay, lay/clergy teams or clergy who are interested in connecting with a changing mission field.

Early Registration: $25.00 - through Oct. 11th, 2012          12:00 Midnight

Late Registration: $35.00 - begins Oct. 12th, 2012             12:01 AM

Online Registration: Closes on Tuesday, October 16th, 2012.

Group Discount: Every 5th participant attends free.  In order to qualify for the group rate, ONE person must register the entire group.  Names and food allergies are needed for each participant.

This event fulfills the clergy requirement for cultural competency training and is eligible for continuing education credit in the PNW Conference UMC.

This workshop is offered ecumenically.
