Discipleship Seminar

The Pacific Northwest Conference Board of Discipleship is pleased to announce a Discipleship seminar presented by Dr. Kevin Watson, based on his book “A Blueprint for Discipleship: Wesley’s General Rules as a Guide for Christian Living.” Watson’s work offers a concrete approach to Christian discipleship based on Wesley’s General Rules and addresses how the Methodist tradition offers guidance as we look to the future and seek renewal.

The seminar will be held on Saturday, October 5 from 9 AM until 4:30 PM at Seattle Pacific University’s Cremona room 101.  Coffee and pastries will be provided and attendees are encouraged to come early for conversation starting at 8:30 A.M.  Maps with area restaurants will be distributed so that attendees can choose where to lunch. Registration includes a copy of Dr. Watson's book.

This seminar is sponsored by the United Methodist PNW Annual Conference Board of Discipleship, Seattle Pacific University and the Wesleyan Covenant Connection and supported by the Tuell Center for Leadership Excellence.  We encourage clergy and laity to attend this event.  It will be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the Methodist approach to Discipleship as a framework for living lives that witness to who Christ is and what he has done for us.

Online registration is now closed. However, you may register on the day of the event, at the door. Cost of admission is $15 which included Dr. Kevin Watson's book.
