Single Board Governance Workshop

Simple Governance Workshop: Many congregations are finding that implementing the practices of simple governance can help their congregation become more intentional about its purpose and focus its efforts more on ministry than meetings.  The workshop will cover the principles and practices of simple governance as well as how your congregation might choose to streamline decision-making and communication.  This workshop is useful for everyone who is interested in how their congregations can become more focused and intentional about God’s calling but especially relevant for core leaders such as Church Council, Trustees, SPRC, and Finance.

Morning workshop (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM): An overview of the principles and single board governance model.

Catered lunch (optional) from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.

Afternoon workshop (1:00 PM to 4:00 PM): A time for questions and answers with Steve Ross, as well as workshop time to work as a local church teams no matter where you are in the process.

You may choose to attend morning, afternoon, or both workshops.  Cost is $10 per person.

Catered lunch (optional) is $12.
