For the Good of Our Horses

This event is for horse owners, those thinking about becoming a horse owner, and horse lovers.  We have three presenters that will share a wealth of knowledge and expertise with you and your friends.

SUNDAY, JANUARY 27, 2019

10:00 AM - 3:00 PM (approximately)

$35.00

(includes lunch - as organic as possible)

REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS JANUARY 24, 2019

Dr. Molly Rice

of Midwest Veterinary Dental Services

will do a presentation on:

What EVERY horse owner, or prospective horse owner, should know about their horse's teeth.

Kendra Skorstad

of the American Association of

Professional Farriers

Kendra will be bringing a couple of cadaver hooves so that you can see what exactly is in a horse's hoof.  She will explain the parts of the hoof and the function as well as discuss why having your horse barefoot, if possible, is to the horse's long term health benefit.

Dr. Alice Marold

of

Willoway Equine Clinic

EPM - Equine protozoal myeloencephalitis

What is it?  Early warning signs that your horse may have EPM; things you may overlook;  affordable treatment now available.

Dr. Marold has been participating in a treatment study for a number of years now and regularly discusses cases with Dr. Ellison, who is one of the top experts on EPM at this time.

We always appreciate when you share with your friends.
