National Week of Prayer for the Healing of HIV/AIDS 

The National Week of Prayer for the Healing of HIV/AIDS (NWOP) is a national campaign that focuses on mobilizing faith communities and highlights the contributions and impact congregations are making in areas of HIV prevention, testing, direct service, advocacy, and community engagement.

The Economic Opportunity Council of Suffolk, Inc. (EOC) has supported this initiative for over 20 years and has partnered with faith-based communities to heal through prayer, health education, advocacy, and service.

This year the NWOP will be held from March 3, 2019 to March 10, 2019.  On Thursday, March 7, 2019 EOC will be hosting its NWOP annual dinner at the Dominican Village, 565 Albany Avenue, Amityville, NY from 6:00pm to 8:30pm.  Doors open at 5:30pm.  This event is free and open to the community.  Please pre-register before Feb 25 as space is limited.
