Pet Memorial Sunday 2021

The loss of a beloved pet is the beginning of a journey of grief.

To help you on your journey, you are cordially invited to

Pet Memorial Sunday,

September 19, 2021 at 2:30pm at Melrose Cemetery.

The program includes:

A series of emails that will be sent to you the week before the event. These emails will contain information about our last moments with our pet as well as information on grief, help on how to deal with grieving and some insight into what you may need to consider if you are thinking of loving a new pet.

The day of the event, invited guests will gather in an open field to listen to the reading of the tribute that you will write about your pet. You will be asked to provide your pet's tribute to me via email BEFORE the event. The day of the event, I will read your pet's tribute aloud for all gathered to hear.

We will then experience the release of the doves, symbolic of us letting go of our beloved pet.

Please feel free to bring a friend or family member with you for support.
