Reviving Justice: A Day of Inspiration, Education, and Action for Change

Reviving Justice offers a re-commitment to Justice Work through deeper learning, music-filled worship, and unique opportunities to build new connections here at home and on a national level. Be inspired by workshops focused on pressing community issues which provide tangible ways you can make a difference. All are welcome.

Conference Registration

General Admission - $40.

Student Admission -  $15.

Information regarding sponsorship and attending the Friday night reception can be found at the bottom of this page.

Worship

Part of our goal is to re-ignite action needed to address inequalities in our communities. For many, our faith calls us to this work - to be a Good Samaritan, to feed the poor, to be the change we want to see. Worship service will be in the UCC Protestant tradition, with interfaith contribution of prayers and music. All Plymouth services are Open and Affirming and ADA Accessible to all. This will be a chance for different people with similar goals to reflect, pray, and get fired-up - together.

Conference attendees of all faiths or none are welcome to participate as much or as little in the worship service as they are comfortable.

Our brief closing service will feature Rabbi Tiferet of
Congregation Shir Hadash.

Workshops

Each of the five workshop tracks will focus on a different issue impacting Wisconsin and the region. Each track will feature one AM and one PM workshop led by local and national presenters.  Presenters will share concrete ways individuals and congregations can make a difference.  Whether you attend both workshops in a track is entirely up to you.

Justice Witness Ministries

Justice and Witness Ministries (JWM) is one of four Covenanted Ministries in the United Church of Christ. JWM helps local congregations and all settings of the church respond to God's commandments to do justice, seek peace and effect change for a better world. JWM's Vision is a just, compassionate and peaceful world that honors all of God's creation. JWM seeks speak and act prophetically through community mobilization, leadership training, issues education, public witness, and public policy advocacy.

Presenter Reception

We invite sponsors to join us as we thank our local and national presenters and supporting leaders of this revival. We plan to provide a special opportunity to connect through a fundraising reception and dinner the night before the workshops. Funds raised are to be split between Plymouth, JWM, and partnering agencies.
