Reviving Peace: Inspiration, Education, and Action for Change

The Reviving Peace conference will provide attendees with opportunities for deeper learning and to make new connections for Peace Work. We aim to inspire people from many spiritual traditions and those who do not identify with any tradition to:
  • Create space for honest interfaith and secular discussions of what divides and connects us
  • Broaden our understanind of diverse religions and spiritual practices
  • Move forward together in mutually respectful ways to wage peace

People will leave with tangible ideas of how to cultivate more personal peace, more peace in our communities and on the global stage. All are welcome. Plymouth Church is ADA accessible, Open & Affirming.

Let's explore being the Peace we want to see.

Worship

For many, our faith calls us to this work: to be a Good Samaritan, to feed the poor, to be the change we want to see. Worship service will be in the UCC Protestant tradition, with interfaith contribution of prayer, music and visual art. All Plymouth services are Open and Affirming and ADA Accessible to all. This will be a chance for different people with similar goals to reflect, pray, and get fired-up, together.

Conference attendees of all faiths or none are welcome to participate as much or as little in the worship service as they are comfortable.

Sunday 9/25 Workshops:

A few workshop details still in development-- stay tuned for updates.

Tracks serve to connect morning and afternoon workshops along common themes; participants can chose to remain in a track or pick and chose as they wish (with the exception of the Israel-Palestine track).
