2017 Atlantic National Service Training Conference 

Join us in Baltimore, MD for the Atlantic National Service Training Conference hosted by the Maryland Governor's Office on Service and Volunteerism. Come together with national service program colleagues, state service commission staff, CNCS, and volunteer management partners for an educational and inspiring training opportunity.

The early-bird registration fee is $150 through May 12. Registration is $200 after May 12. Registration is open until Wednesday, May 31.

Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, US Virgin Islands, and Vermont.

REGISTRATION
Registration closes on May 31 or when the event reaches capacity. 
  • Early-bird registration is $150 until May 12.
  • Registration is $200 after May 12.
  • If you have been provided a promotional code, please enter it and click "apply" during registration to receive applicable discounts.

AGENDA
The training agenda can be viewed here. All workshops are attended on a first-come, first-serve basis with the exception of the Monday morning opportunities.

  • Conference opens Sunday, June 4with registration and check-in, exhibits set-up, and a buffet dinner for the Sunday arrivals.
  • Pre-sessions begin Monday at 9:00 a.m. and official, formal conference opening is Monday at 12:15 p.m. with the luncheon and keynote speaker.
  • The conference closes on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.

MONDAY MORNING WORKSHOP OPPORTUNITIES (LIMITED SPACE AVAILABLE)

  • Commission Staff Pre-Conference: Monday, June 5 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • New Senior Corps Staff Orientation: Monday, June 5 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. 
  • New AmeriCorps Staff Boot Camp: Monday, June 5 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

MEALS
Registration includes the following meals:

June 4: Dinner Buffet
June 5: Breakfast and Lunch 
June 6: Breakfast and Lunch 
June 7: Breakfast and Lunch 

LODGING
Attendees are responsible for booking their lodging. A group block has been made at the Marriott Inner Harbor Camden Yards. Reservations must be made by May 12 to access the group rate.

Group Rate: $185 Single or Double accommodation, plus applicable taxes (currently 15.5%)

TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS
Attendees are responsible for their own transportation. 

Airport: Best airport is BWI (other airports in the region require several transportation steps and much more time to get to downtown Baltimore). BWI is less than 10 miles to the conference hotel.

PAYMENT OPTIONS
Online registration will provide you with the option to pay by credit card via PayPal or mail a check. To pay by check, please send payment by May 19. Failure to submit payment on time may result in your registration being cancelled.

Mailing Checks: Checks should be made payable to the Association of State Service Commissions and sent to Association of State Service Commissions; 455 Massachusetts Ave, NW Suite 153; Washington, DC 20001Please include a copy of your registration confirmation with payment.

Invoices: Please use your registration confirmation email as an invoice. If you are unable to do this, email statecommissions@gmail.com to request an invoice. Please allow one week response for a requested invoice.

REFUNDS/CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations can be made at anytime prior to May 19. Refunds for registration will be processed up to May 19, but may include a processing fee. After May 19, you forfeit your registration fee with cancellation and there will be no exceptions.
