Meeting Energy Codes with Wireless Solutions

Qualifies for 1 IEEE PDH

As the demand for wireless controls grows, so do the rules, regulations and options. The newest release of ASHRAE 90.1 2016 becomes official on or after April 1, 2019 (no fooling!) on all nonresidential projects. With the ever-expanding market of products – how can you be sure your choices are compliant?

Join us Tuesday April 2 at the Science History Institute for our Engineers' Update. Enjoy a networking reception followed by a noncommercial educational session to learn about the impact the new code will have on your work.

Learning Objectives:

  • Become aware of the wireless communication protocols available to manufacturers of controls and how they differ
  • Understand the energy code requirements adopted by each state and the compliance path associated with each
  • Review and analyze the newest energy code for lighting controls released in the United States: ASHRAE 90.1 2016
  • Discuss many ways of wireless lighting control can aid in the compliance of ASHRAE 90.1 2016

This is a complimentary event hosted by The Electrical Association of Philadelphia for the engineering community!
