"Make it a Day On, Not a Day Off" 

 

We still have work to do to realize Dr. King’s dream of a better world. People of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities can get involved! The MLK Day of Service brings service to a new level. United by a common desire to meet needs and make differences, we work together for lasting improvements; changes we could not achieve on our own.

Registering your service project allows people in Colorado the opportunity to view your project and join your efforts.  Projects that are registered through Serve Colorado will be promoted throughout Colorado by The MLK Day of Service sponsors and non-profit partners. This is a great opportunity to receive publicity on the amazing work your organization will be doing on this day of service and to educate Coloradans throughout the state about what you do. Registered projects will have the opportunity to network and connect with other organizations that are planning service projects for this day, and will receive planning support and materials from Serve Colorado staff.  After the day of service, a printed report, featuring all projects taking place on this service day will be distributed to non-profits, elected officials, community leaders, partner organizations and many others. The sooner you register your service project, the more benefits you will be able to take advantage of, so don’t wait until the last minute to register!
