Understanding eCPD and Achieving Your Mandatory Training
Dental Professionals practising in the UK have a duty to keep their skills and knowledge up-to-date. The BAOS Core CPD Course aims to provide those working in primary and secondary care, in the NHS and in private and independent practice with up-to-date information across all core subjects as set out by the General Dental Council (GDC).
The event is opened with an address from GDC colleagues outlining the new eCPD requirements and the future developments in Continuous Professional Learning.
The course will cover medical emergencies, disinfection and decontamination including HTM 01-05, radiography and radiation protection, the latest in legal and ethical issues, complaints handling, early detection of oral cancer and safeguarding children.
Keeping up with your professional development requirements is the key to delivering good quality care to patients and the public. Completion of this course can be used as evidence towards meeting your CPD requirements with the GDC.
