STATEMENT ON GENETIC TESTING
STATEMENT FROM THE AGENCY ON AGING NORTHWESTERN ILLINOIS: Medicare has recently stated that coverage of genetic or DNA tests are meant for people with very advanced stages of cancer who are already seeking cancer treatments. Therefore, the Agency on Aging Northeastern Illinois has decided not to permit genetic or DNA testing businesses to participate in the 2019 Senior Expo.
