From Political Polarization to Vestry Infighting: Engaging Faithful Dialogue During Troubled Times

June 4 - 8, 2018

Difficult conversations, making tough choices, bridging political divides, disarming conflict: as church leaders we face these issues every day. The Gospel offers spiritual perspective and practical guidance to help us constructively and charitably engage difficult conversations.

This week-long continuing education retreat includes both theological teaching and practical training in Gospel-based dialogue techniques. You will acquire tools to make your job as rector, priest, or lay leader easier, and develop friendships with others who are navigating similar waters.

Teachers:

Dr. Steven Tomlinson

The Rev. Jane Patterson, PhD

The Rev. John Lewis, DPhil

Rebecca Hall, MSF

Cost: $475, including daily breakfast and lunch on Tuesday and Thursday
