Community Connections DROP IN 2023

PLEASE NOTE:
Drop-In programs are all held at 800 Point Road.
You can come to Drop in for any session and do not need to register before you come. Come when you can, and stay as long as you like. You can attend different groups as often as you wish!
We use this registration system to collect some info about you and/or your family for our records. We do this just once.
When you come to Drop in we will ask you to sign-in for us as record of attendance.
All Drop In programs are free through the support of the United Way of Winnipeg (For Every Family Initiative) and the Government of Manitoba.
SWFIC Mask Policy: Masks are optional for participants, and for SWFIC staff and volunteers. If you have concerns please contact the office at 204-284-9311.

OUTDOOR PLAY - IN PERSON at Crescent Drive Park, 781 Crescent Drive
Oudoor play for parents/caregivers and children. Active outdoor play for parents and young children ages 1 to 6. Older siblings welcome to attend. Bring a water bottle and dress for the weather, including sunscreen and a hat on hot days. Snack will be provided.

Seniors Connecting - IN PERSON
Join us for conversation and fun with our lively seniors group every Wednesday morning. Casual conversation and activities. A chance to connect with other community members. Free coffee and snacks.
- Date: Wednesday Mornings (Summer dates from July 18 to August 29)
- Time: 9:30 am to 11:30 am
Tech for Seniors - IN PERSON
Need help with your phone? with your tablet? with your laptop? Drop in with your device and we can support you where you need it.
- Date: Thursday Afternoons (Summer Dates from July 20 to August 31)
- Time: 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM
Wiggle, Giggle, and Munch - WILL RETURN IN SEPTEMBER
Wiggle, Giggle & Munch is a time for parents and children to have fun together through active play, games, action songs and a healthy snack.

Baby and Me - Will return in September
New Parents Connecting. Join us Monday afternoons to have real conversations about all the changes, joys and struggles of parenting babies plus rhymes, playtime, coffee, snacks and so much more.

Join us for a session of parent and child free play, fun activities, snacks, and a great way for parents and children to connect.
