March 10 Leadership Summit 

Missionaries in a Networked Age is the theme of Cherokee Presbytery's next Leadership Summit and Stated Meeting on Saturday, March 10th at First Presbyterian Church of Marietta, Georgia. The day will include worship, an inspiring and provocative keynote, workshops, lunch, and the work of Cherokee Presbytery.

John Vest is Visiting Assistant Professor of Evangelism at Union Presbyterian Seminary.  He will present our Keynote before lauching us into your choice of four workshop offerings - or a one hour presentation by Pneumatrix, a consulting firm prepared to spend the next 12 months helping the congregations of our presbytery discern God's call for their future.  You can read more about the day's events in the Handbook.  

Childcare is provided for the meeting by advance registration only.  Please register your children by March 1, 2018.

Lunch for the day will be provided by the church and you can pay at the door or pay as you register.  The cost is $10/person.

In preparation for our June Leadership Summit, limited copies of the book Waking Up White by Debbie Irving will be for sale on March 10th.  You can reserve your copy by purchasing it when you register.

Please note, this Leadership Summit is much more than a "presbytery meeting."  This is a day filled with rich content for all members of Cherokee Presbytery.  Even if you are not the commissioner elected by your Session, there is something for you.  Come!  Learn!  Enjoy the company of other Cherokee Presbyterians.  It's going to be a great day!
