Women's March MN at the 2018 Pride Parade 

Come march with us! We are better together when we support and celebrate our LGBTQIA+ Community.

We will be marching in the 2018 Ashely Rukes Pride Parade and want YOU to march with us as a UNITED coalition of activists. We truly believe we are better together to support and celebrate our LGBTQIA+ Community.

This year our theme will be to remind parade-goers that we still have a lot of work to do to hold police to a high standard of accountability to the violence committed against Trans people and People of Color. After all, Pride was an outcome of the Stonewall riots precipitated by police violence against the trans community. Other cities have removed police presence from their Pride parades, but Twin Cities Pride has not, despite many requests.

Not to forget the purpose of the day, it IS Pride and we will be celebrating that! Wear rainbow colors and WMM gear and join us in the parade. We will have signs available but feel free to make and carry your own. (Information on location and place to meet will be posted closer to the Pride Parade.)
