Accurately recording compensable time worked by employees is the foundation of legally compliant wage and hour practices. In this seminar, we will discuss the nuances of accurately recording compensable time, including the impact of different time keeping systems, rounding and automatic deductions. We will also discuss the steps employers can take to create bulletproof employee time records and the training managers need to receive to ensure they properly review and approve recorded time. Finally, we will review the wage and hour issues that are getting attention from BOLI and DOL and the steps you can take to avoid wage and hour claims and lawsuits.
