MOTORIZED COMPANION RESCUE

This is a Saturday night class and Sunday field day Motorized Companion Rescue certified training that will get you and your riding partners proficitent with rescue skills that saves lives. The course is taught to American Avalanche Association (A3) standards.
Motorized Avalanche Rescue topics include:
Learn the Importance of beacon skills (burial time-survival statistics), beacon operation and search principles, demonstration and practice of signal, coarse, fine, and pinpoint search, rescue practice scenarios including group management, probing & shoveling, and overview of first aid and emergency skills needed in actual rescues. Glacier travel & rescue.
Come prepared to be outdoors. Bring your personal equipment that you typically carry with you in the mountains including: beacon, shovel probe. A gear list will be provided. Night class 5:30 - 7:30pm Saturday February 15th and field day 8:30am - 4:30pm Sunday February 16th.
