Having sufficient funding for your business is critical, whether you are just launching your business, experiencing significant growth, dealing with seasonal financial peaks and valleys, or taking advantage of important new opportunities.  This workshop will explore a wide range of funding sources and how business owners should prepare themselves to take advantage of funding opportunities.

Your Instructor:  Carolyn Tonn

 Carolyn worked with the U.S. Small Business Administration in Des Moines       and Cedar Rapids and recently became a Cedar Rapids SCORE  counselor.   For many years, she has specialized in working with financial  institutions on   commercial loans & working with various economic development organizations   supporting small & medium-sized businesses.   She served 21 counties in Eastern Iowa.  Carolyn is a graduate of the University of Iowa, with additional coursework & studies in international business.  She grew up in a successful entrepreneurial family, and in her career she has devoted much of her time, both directly & indirectly, to assisting entrepreneurs.
