Working Women's Wednesday with
Dr. Leigh-Anne Royster
Domestic Violence is a global public health epidemic. Dr. Royster will discuss frameworks we can use to reduce stigma around the issue and to increase awareness, action and skills in preventing domestic violence.
Anyone interested in making a difference in this world-wide issue should join this interactive session.
Dr. Royster is the Director of Center for Equity and Inclusive Excellence and Assistant Professor at Elon University.
Much of her current work is focused on cragting campus-wide policy and educational opportunities around issues of equity, inclusion, violence/harassment prevention, and health promotion. She coordinates and develops educational opportunities for faculty and staff focused on these areas through public health frameworks. She also develops anti-bias and anti-oppression education for students at Elon.
