Patti Bates is General Manager of Protective Market for Glen Raven Technical Fabrics. A graduate of North Carolina State, she began her career at Hanes Pintable’s as a Quality Control Supervisor. Patti then joined Glen Raven as an Industrial / Process Engineer and has held several titles within the company.

She has served on multiple industry related organizations including chair of the United States Industrial Fabrics Institute. Patti is very active within the community, serving on the Board of the Piedmont Chapter of JDRF, the Board for CrossRoads Sexual Assault Response and Resource Center in Burlington and as an Elder at First Presbyterian Church Burlington.  

Patti and her husband Harold have two children, Elizabeth and Robert.

Mia Alberto is Vice President of Operations and New Products for Glen Raven Technical Fabrics. She holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Management from University of North Carolina at Wilmington and a Global Executive Masters in Business Administration from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.

Mia began her extensive career with Glen Raven in 2009 as a Credit Collections Analyst. Between that time and advancing to her position as Vice President of Operations and New Products she has held positions such as Filtration Market Manager, Industrial Business Manager and Director of Operations.

Her free time is spent traveling, exercising or with friends and family, specifically her puppy Macho! Mia and her husband Justin are expecting their first child in October 2021.
