It's Okay to Talk About It...

A virtual workshop for girls ages 13-15 and their Mothers/or female Caregivers to talk about:
  • Self Esteem/Self Care
  • Healthy Relationships
  • Consent
  • Decision Making
  • Personal Health
Diane Duffy, M.D. is a board-certified pediatrician who practiced at Burlington Pediatrics for 16 years and most recently was with Elon University's Physician Assistant Program. She has been an active member of the Women's Resource Center, serving on the Board of Directors and committees. She is interested in helping mothers and daughters have meaningful conversations and knowledge about issues that impact a teen's ability to develop habits to ensure healthy relationships and encourage her to feel empowered to make decisions that are best for her.

Melissa Luck is the client resource counselor with the Women's Resource Center in Alamance County. And holds a degree in Human Development and Family Studies from University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Mothers/or Female Caregivers must be present during workshop.
