This month our speaker, Lindsay Wrege, invites you to challenge cultural norms, specifically in the areas of diversity, equity, and inclusion. You will discover how true change comes from demonstrating new ways and practicing the better. If it's not broken don't fix it, but if it is broken then do something.
If you want to make things better, make better things.
Lindsay is the co-founder and CEO of 321 Coffee, a coffee shop and roaster in Raleigh, NC that employs individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Her inclusive staff, featuring people with down syndrome, autism, and other neurodiversity, together are modeling inclusion for other companies to follow.
Lindsay started 321Coffee in college, and it now employs over 20 individuals of all abilities. Her passion for inclusion stems from her personal experience growing up surrounded by people with disabilities, seeing first-hand what they’re capable of followed by the lack of opportunity available to them. Lindsay is addressing this head-on. She believes in the power of using business for social impact. In her free time, Lindsay enjoys being outside with friends and family.
The Zoom information will be provided upon registration.
