Entrepreneurship & Family Business -

Complementary Dynamics.

1st Families in Business Day

Any business begins with a f
ounder’s or a family’s entrepreneurial vision and entrepreneurship continues to play a significant role throughout the family firm’s evolution as it grows and prospers. Of course, not all family enterprises are entrepreneurial and not all new initiatives are family enterprises. Where is yours and how will it endure?

Spend a day working ON your business and not IN your business. Join with your business peers for the first annual Families in Business Day, hosted by the Family Business Initiative @ UVM. With concurrent sessions focusing on business, ownership or family, the day will offer workshops, stories and networking which focus on the robust link between family enterprise and entrepreneurship.

The Family Business Initiative @ UVM is a statewide network of business owners and successors that are dedicated to working through the challenging issues of growth, strategy and transition.
