The future is a moving target, with new technologies, processes and policies
creating both opportunities and challenges. When it comes to moving freight, people or both, these changes must be taken into consideration. But advancements designed to lower cost and boost efficiency are coming at a faster pace than ever before.
Governmental agencies that serve our borders community are making advancements of their own. In fact, here in our bi-national region, the “Border of the Future” can more accurately be described as the border of the here-and-now, as technologies that only recently were considered to be somewhere down the road are already being implemented, and serving Buffalo Niagara’s cross-border needs.
On October 30, join ITGO, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) at the beautiful Tonawanda Castle for the premiere logistics event of the year, and an in-depth look at the technologies that are being implemented right now - and in the near future - to make borders, airports and commerce safer and smarter, supporting the flow of freight and people in the bi-national Buffalo Niagara region.
After the presentations, stay for a panel Q&A with our speakers, followed by networking with logistics, manufacturing and economic development colleagues.
