Annual Purple Ribbon Awards Breakfast and Conference

 “Honoring the Past & Challenging the Future” 

 

Featuring Kelly Miller, JD

Cohort Member, NoVo Foundation’s Initiative to Strengthen Collective Capacity to End Violence Against Women, Girls, Men and Boys

 Kelly Miller will present on visioning and creating a future without violence.  Kelly envisions compassionate communities with respect, equity, and justice for all human beings, where violence against women and girls is no longer a common occurrence and violence in all communities is no longer accepted.  As an attorney who has been working to end gender-based violence for more than 30 years, Kelly is a national presenter on movement building.  Kelly is currently the Executive Director of Idaho Coalition against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault.  She has represented girls and women who were impacted by violence and individuals with disabilities as an attorney with Legal Aid Society and an assistant prosecutor in a felony domestic violence/sexual assault unit in Louisville, KY, and as Deputy Director with Idaho Legal Aid Services.

Registration Information

Registrants can register for the Annual Awards Breakfast only, the Conference only or both the breakfast and conference.  There is an early bird registration for the conference.

The Domestic Violence Council (DVC) is the only nonprofit organization in Douglas County that unites people, services and systems to end intimate partner violence. Through research, assessment, education, and facilitating collaborative partnerships we work to make sure that every person who reaches out for help will find it.
