A block of rooms is reserved for TORCH conference participants at the Hyatt Regency Dallas, 300 E. Reunion Blvd, Dallas, TX 75207. Please call the hotel directly at (888) 421-1442 before April 2, 2017 for reservations or book your reservations online. The special conference rate is $164 (single/double) before the deadline. All programs and facilities are accessible to the handicapped. TORCH Early Bird Golf Tournament
April 17, 2017
Join us at the Tenison Highlands Golf Club before the TORCH Annual Conference for a golf tournament benefitting the John F. Boff scholarship fund. Get a sneak peek of this venue by clicking here.  BBQ lunch is served at noon, warm-up begins at 12:30 pm and golf begins at 1:00 pm. If you are interested in playing in the annual golf tournament, please click here to register.

TORCH Awards Luncheon:
April 19,  2017
Each year we take a moment to recognize some of our outstanding hospital and corporate members as well as the scholarship recipients who were selected since the last TORCH Annual Conference. There are concurrent sessions scheduled both before and after the luncheon to allow time to setup the room. We urge you to take part in this wonderful networking opportunity and to find out who is this year’s recipient of our most prestigious award, The Gordon Russell Award of Merit. One lucky CEO will be taking home the award, so please come and cheer them on.

Continuing Education Credit:
A certificate of attendance is available for participants, which can be used to claim CE credits from professional associations and state licensing boards. This program specifically provides:
1. A total of 12 hours of CE units for CPAs are available from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy: sponsor #04763. No preparation required.
2. TORCH is authorized to award 12 hours of pre-approved ACHE Qualified Education credit for this program toward advancement or recertification in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Participants in this program wishing to have the continuing education hours applied toward ACHE Qualified Education credit should indicate their attendance when submitting application to the American College of Healthcare Executives for advancement or recertification. 
3. This program qualifies for Critical Access Hospital Board Training Reimbursement through Texas State Office of Rural Health, Texas Department of Agriculture. For more information, please visit their website.
4. TORCH is authorized to award 14 hours of pre-approved continuing education for this program toward by the American Academy of Medical Administrators (AAMA). Participants wishing to have the continuing education hours applied should indicate their attendance when submitting application to the American Academy of Medical Administrators.

 Registration is now open for the TORCH Annual Conference.  To obtain the early bird registration fee, please make sure you register by April 10, 2017.

9th Annual TORCH Foundation Silent Auction:
As part of our 2017 TORCH Annual Conference & Tradeshow, we will be holding the 9th Annual TORCH Foundation Silent Auction and welcome you to participate in this fun event! From the proceeds we received from last year’s Silent Auction, we were able to award numerous education scholarships and stipends to dedicated rural health/MHA university students and TORCH Member hospital staff through the TORCH Foundation Scholarship Fund. We hope to continue the growth of this important resource and increase the number of scholarship opportunities in 2017-18. This year’s Silent Auction will take place on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, in the Exhibit Hall. Winners will be announced during the Wednesday evening reception.

Donations for this event are a great way you can show your support for this worthy cause and receive recognition at the same time. We welcome everything from electronics to artwork to home goods to gift certificates.

Silent Auction Form and email directly to Carrie Ruiz. Items sent to the TORCH office must be received no later than April 11, 2017. Other items mailed or delivered to the Hyatt Regency Hotel must be received no later than the morning of Tuesday, April 18.

To help us plan properly and ensure optimal processing of conference materials, complete and submit your registration as early as possible. You may pay by check or credit card. Cash is accepted for on-site registration only (receipts will be provided). Your registration cannot be processed without payment in full. Registrants unable to attend may send an alternate; please notify TORCH of any changes prior to the event. For cancellation, notify us in writing prior to April 3, 2017. Refunds, minus a $25 processing fee, will be available for notices received by this date. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after this date. TORCH reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the event if deemed necessary; or should a situation beyond the control of TORCH arise to prevent holding the conference, TORCH will not be held liable for any expenses incurred by the registrants, except for the registration fee, which would be refunded.
