Led by Dr. Andrew Horne, Teaching Fellow in the College, this reading group will read a selection of Latin Psalms, Canticles, and Hymns. Classes will alternate between Jerome’s translations of the Psalms, his renderings of Biblical canticles used in the Divine Office, and classic Latin hymns such as the Te Deum and Aquinas’s Eucharististic hymns.
