The Bureau of Drug and Alcohol Services works to reduce alcohol and other drug misuse and its social, health, and behavioral consequences for the citizens of New Hampshire through public policy and resource development, education, and supporting initiatives that ensure the delivery of effective and coordinated prevention and treatment services.
This training is geared towards Prevention and Recovery professionals, but will also provide great information and tools for others as well.
This training will:
• Provide a foundational, evidence-based argument for how much prevention and
recovery actually have in common, why this is, as well as how it can be harnessed for
lasting change within our culture.
• Provide an overview of all of the access points within the ecology of recovery as the
target zones for the work of prevention and recovery folks to shift culture.
• Highlight role-specific, tangible and actionable ways we can partner together to
harness and activate people to “Be An Opportunity” and prevent the darkness that
breeds SUDs/addiction.
... and much more.
